Ron Morris is making a good living bashing the University of South Carolina at the expense of the athletics department. Almost every article from this employee of The State newspaper is slanted against South Carolina. There must be some reason for carrying this font of negativity at The State. Clemson fans control the newspaper? Tennessee fans pay his salary? Morris loves orange and has a closet full of road-work garments?

The Gamecocks football team will return to the Bluff Road practice fields tonight at 7:30 p.m.

I was reading a certain article from a certain local sports reporter today and they were whining again about how Mr. Spurrier handles his business. Now who am I to say how sports reporting should be done? I am a no-name, over-opinionated fan that obsesses over the best football team in the country. I do take exception to the fact that it's the same person every week that puts negative articles in the news … and seemingly only about the Gamecocks.
