Bad Week to be a Tiger
Rallycock sending a shout out about the Clemson debacle. First things first, until USC puts up winning seasons (maybe more than one plus .500 season back to back?) we really can't say to much about what Clemson is doing this year. Bask in the glory all you like there is still a long way to go this season and a few teams that are going to give the Gamecocks all they can handle.
I resist calling up everyone I know that has one of those little kitty paws on their truck (you know the same people who call you every time USC loses) and add to their misery. Even with Clemson's horrible season this year they still own USC like it or not. Now would I want to trade places with a team that can't even win in the ACC? Their entire foundation is crumbling beneath them and the "legacy" that they have hung on to for so long is quickly fading. Meanwhile USC has a young and talented team that Spurrier has put together that looks like it’s only going to get better.
My point is now is not the time to gloat in the kitty paws downward spiral. We don't need to act like a typical Clemson fans and point fingers and say I told you so. It’s bad karma and I think we can be above kitty paw behavior. LSU is going to come to Columbia and they are not going to be happy tigers after last weekend’s blowout loss. Reality tells me it’s a long shot for USC to win this weekend even at home. What reality doesn't know is that it’s the SEC and anything can happen.
To recap let’s try not to knock Mark's Clemson coffee cup out of his hand in the office this morning and laugh at his misfortunes of rooting for the second best team in South Carolina. Instead we should be gathering around the water cooler discussing the keys to beating a powerful LSU team.
